What if I don't have a digital camera?
We can print posters from your negatives, or from your prints. Please note that these will have to be posted to us and that we recommend Special Delivery. We will return the items in the same way but cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage caused by Royal Mail. What image types can I use for poster printing? We can accept all image file formats. How large can my image file be?We accept image sizes up to 8Mb. If you have any problems uploading an image please email it to sales@pics2posters.co.uk with requirements of what you need and one of our sales staff will contact you. How do I send an image? You can now use our online image upload service, however if your image is not in digital format we do accept photo's by post, we must stress that all photo's sent by post should be recorded delivery as we cannot be held responsible for lost or undelivered images, please also provide a contact number so our sales team can contact you for payment details. Or you can just simply email it to sales@pics2posters.co.uk What resolution do you print at?We print your poster at high resolution. You can achieve optimum quality for your image if it has 100 dpi at the selected format size (such as 60 x 45 cm). What resolution must my image have? The higher the resolution, the better the image quality. However, file size also increases at higher resolution. For best quality we recommend scanning at 300dpi, but if you have trouble emailing large files you can send us the original by post. Please remember, however, that the quality of a poster is determined by the resolution, and we do not accept responsibility for complaints caused by poor resolution. Below is a guide to what file size your image should be:
How is the printing done? We print on the Canon W8400 and W2200 graphic plotters one of the highest quality graphic arts printers available . When we receive your order we download the image file from our server and check your enlargement size and media type. Unless you've specified otherwise we perform some automatic image enhancement to make sure it looks its best before printing. Do the posters fade in time?We use top quality paper and coated canvas along with Canon lightfast ink. Your posters will not fade for many years (Canon say the ink is lightfast for 75 years). How do I order?Via our online store by clicking on the "order now" link in the top menu. If you are sending images by post please contact 0800 034 1749 to place your order. Is it safe to pay by credit card?Absolutely. When you enter your card details you are connected to an Ezimerchant secure server. All details are transmitted in encrytped format and held securely by Ezimerchant. Can I pay by cheque?Of course. We recommend you make your order & upload your file(s) online and complete the shipping details form. Then instead of making an online payment via credit card select the cheque option. Complete your order then post your cheque to us. Make sure all cheques are payable to 'Pics2posters Ltd'. What Is Your Estimated Delivery Time? We aim to deliver all posters and prints within 4 working days. Please allow up to 5 working days for delivery of box framed canvases. However under special circumstances (i.e Party Posters) we will try to speed up the delivery process. If you require a poster for a specific date please specify when ordering. All of our Box Framed Canvas products are hand made and are not rushed whether it be for a single client or one of our corporate clients.
